Questions concerning online-tickets from ALBERTINA
You will receive your invoice shortly after you receive your confirmation. If you do not receive an invoice, please contact onlineshop@albertina.at.
If you do not print out your ticket, simply bring your smartphone or tablet PC with the email we sent you when you visit the museum. Please ensure that your smartphone or tablet PC battery is sufficiently charged.
Senior citizens, children under 19, young adults from 19 to 26 and visitors with special needs who have obtained a discounted ticket must present a valid ID in addition to their ticket, proving they are eligible for the discount.
Tickets to the ALBERTINA MODERN entitle you to visit all of the open exhibitions at the location (Karlsplatz 5).
Tickets to the ALBERTINA & ALBERTINA MODERN entitle you to one-time entry into the ALBERTINA and ALBERTINA MODERN. You may visit the museums on different days as long as your visits fall within the validity period printed on the ticket.
However, please observe the special opening times. Moreover, particularly for conservation reasons, locations, individual exhibitions or exhibition rooms may be closed when special events are held or large numbers of visitors are expected.
Tickets that are valid for a specific period may only be redeemed during the period indicated on the ticket.
You must provide your personal data when placing your order for invoicing purposes.
Currently, no specific time (date, time) can be selected for your museum visit. Please note, that due to the current COVID-Regulations, even with an online ticket, there might be waiting times in front of the building.

Following order confirmation, you will receive a tracking link that will allow you to check on the status of your delivery.
You can use the right to revocation as a guide.
School Groups without Guide
School classes are welcome at any time during opening hours.
It is not necessary to announce the date of your visit in advance. It is not possible nor necessary to reserve a time slot for your visit with a school class.
Please note that there may be waiting times depending on the exhibition and season.
Educators and teachers have a duty of care for their school classes during the visit. Students under the age of 14 are not allowed to visit the museum independently.
