Lisette Model (1901–1983), born into a Viennese Jewish family, is regarded as one of the 20th century’s most influential photographers. This ALBERTINA exhibition presents a broad retrospective covering her most important groups of works created between 1933 and 1957. Alongside iconic photographs such as Coney Island Bather and Metropole Cafe, the selection also includes seldom-seen works.
