Admission ticket validity

All admission tickets (except special offers) are valid for one year beginning on the date of purchase and entitle the bearer to be admitted to the ALBERTINA Museum one time. The COMBINED TICKET is valid for one year beginning on the date of purchase and entitles the bearer to be admitted to the ALBERTINA Museum, ALBERTINA MODERN and ALBERTINA KLOSTERNEUBURG one time each. The three locations can be visited on different days within a year. Tickets to ALBERTINA MODERN are valid exclusively for the exhibition halls of ALBERTINA MODERN on ground and basement floor on site, Karlsplatz 5, 1010 Vienna. 
All admission tickets are valid during regular opening hours and entitle the bearer to be admitted once to the particular entire museum. We accept digital and home-printed tickets.
Due to a variable stream of visitors, even with online-tickets, there might be waiting times in front of the building. We kindly ask for your understanding.
 

Reduced admission tickets

Seniors, children under 19, young adults from 19 to 26 and visitors with disabilities must present a valid ID in addition to their admission ticket upon admission.
Reduced admission tickets for special groups of visitors (Club Ö1, Vienna City Card holders, ICOM, Kulturpass etc.) are available exclusively at the museum’s ticket desk.
Journalists may reach out to presse@albertina.at ahead of their visit to request free tickets.
 

Confirmation e-mail

Your confirmation including admission tickets and an invoice will be sent to the e-mail address indicated by you. The confirmation e-mail can take up to one business day to reach your inbox.
