Die Kunstfotografie um 1900

With the exhibition "Pictorialism. Art Photography around 1900" the ALBERTINA Museum is for the first time turning a spotlight on a significant chapter in the history of Austrian photography. The period shortly prior to 1900 bore witness to the development of a movement whose main concern was to put photography on an equal footing with fine art.
Accompanying the exhibition a 144 pages strong German-only exhibition catalogue is published.
